Schibsted Spain wins customer service award

Schibsted Spain has been recognized as having the ‘best online customer service’¬†at Spain’s CRC Oro Awards, which recognize excellence in corporate customer relationship management. The winners are decided by a panel of industry judges based on surveys of client satisfaction.

“One of the fundamental pillars of the company is to be as close as possible to our users and clients,” said¬†Frode Nordseth, CEO of Schibsted Spain, in a news release.
“Receiving this award corroborates the good work that we have done to this point, and will encourage us to continue in the same direction that made it possible to win this recognition,” he said.
This award will be especially meaningful to Schibsted Spain, as the company has a clear agenda of growing the classified market in Spain and encouraging people to make it a part of daily life. To this end the company holds regular Customer Experience Training (CEX) for employees working in other areas of the company. This training is to give them “first person experience” of customer comments in order to help study and suggest solutions to common concerns.
The objective is “to design solutions, products and services based in the real needs” of the users, according to a company news release. As a result, Schibsted reports a 90-percent customer satisfaction rate across its marketplace Vibbo.com, real estate vertical Fotocasa.es, recruitment site InfoJobs.net and automobile vertical Coches.net.
Schibsted Spain’s fellow CRC Oro honorees included Nespresso, Banco Santander, Vodafone and Iberdrola.
