Twitter, Facebook release new features

Twitter and Facebook have both introduced tweaked features that indicate the directions the social media competitors may be heading.

Twitter now has an integrated real time search box right on the main Twitter.com page. Results open on the main page and can be saved. This functionality was previously available from a separate experimental Twitter site. Now as a key part of main site,
