Newspaper circ grew 1.3 percent in 2008

Despite the global financial crisis, newspaper circulation grew 1.3 percent worldwide in 2008, Gavin O’Reilly, president of the World Association of Newspapers said this week in a speech opening the WAN’s Power of Print Conference in Barcelona, Spain. O’Reilly is also CEO of Independent News and Media.
