Newspaper ad revenue down 30 percent in Q1

The NAA is reporting that advertising revenue for the newspaper industry plunged almost 30 percent to $6.6 billion in Q1 09 compared with the same quarter last year.

The drop hit even the online sector. The National Newspaper Association’s study shows that online advertising revenue
