NAR won’t oppose Obama financial protection bill

The Obama administration wants to create a Consumer Financial Protection Agency that would regulate financial products like mortgages and credit cards. An industry trade group, the American Financial Services Association, is coordinating opposition. And the National Association of Realtors, which attended an early AFSA brainstorming session, has decided it won’t try to derail the new agen
