Urban Interns, Web site for part time help

Urban Interns, a recruitment site for part time work, launched its beta in New York City in February. Owners Lauren Porat, an IAC veteran, and attorney Cari Sommer, are bootstrapping the startup. It was just named to Business Week's "America's Most Promising Startups" list.

Sharon Hill has been a senior writer / analyst with the AIM Group since 2004, except for a two-year time-out to serve as sales and marketing manager for Suburban Newspapers of America.
