CarMax hires, opens dealerships, good sign for auto U.S. industry

Used-car retailer CarMax Inc. just announced that it will hire approximately 600 sales, service, purchasing and business employees throughout the U.S. in anticipation of a sales pick up this spring and summer.  A May 2008 layoff brought the retailer's staff from 16,400 to 13,0
