Guardian Media Group's chief executive Carolyn McCall is leaving media to run EasyJet, a low-cost airline.
A start date hasn't been set. McCall leaves the U.K.-based media company after 24 years of service. She began as a research planner.
While calling the Guardian her "second home," she characterized the move as a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
