NY Times digitizes Ford print ads for Edge

20 Sep 2010A full page ad for Ford's new model the Edge ran in print in The New York Times on Thursday, as well as on the Times website and its mobile edition. The print ad, however, was digitized, via text and smart phone capabilities - and it married NYT news articles with Ford banner ads. The top of the print ad was not so unusual - a photo of the Edge, and copy that touted its MyFordTouch voice commands
Sharon Hill has been a senior writer / analyst with the AIM Group since 2004, except for a two-year time-out to serve as sales and marketing manager for Suburban Newspapers of America.
