First-half prostitution-ad revenue increases 7.8 percent

Online prostitution advertising generated a projected $19.1 million in revenue on five websites during the first six months of 2012, an increase of 7.8 percent compared to $17.7 million generated in the first half of 2011. Mark Whittaker joined the AIM Group as sales director in March 2009. His career in newspapers spans 30 years as a reporter, editor and online manager.
