Auto ad dollars, mobile users way up at Media General

In its Q3 2012 earnings release,  Media General reported a year- over -year increase of 45 percent in automotive advertising, due to this year's Olympics advertising, and last year's Japan tsunami cutbacks. Notable as well: Unique visitors who came to MG sites by way of their mobile devices were up 68 percent over Q3 2011, as were page views. Desktop viewing increased by a mere 13 percent in compa
