Classified dollars drop 21+ percent at Journal Communications newspapers

Journal Communications, owner of the Milwaukee (WI) Journal Sentinel and more than 20 community newspapers,  reported a year-over -year increase of more than 11 percent, TV revenue that jumped nearly 40 percent, but  newspaper classified advertising revenue that continued its precipitous drop, even in digital. Automotive and recruitment advertising were the hardest-hit
