The overall U.S. housing market is hot, with buyers signing more aggressive loans, appraisals getting looser, almost every sale a bidding war, says Redfin. Part of what has so far prevented a bubble is that more than half of all homes are purchased with cash, and while home prices are rising they're not doing so faster than incomes.
