Cars.com newspaper affiliate fees leap as much as 300 percent

With the October 1 buy-out of Cars.com by Gannett Company, newspaper affiliates retained their right to sell Cars.com advertising to auto dealers in their local markets for another five years. However, they're now paying a considerably heftier price to do so.
