Corstens promoted to head of verticals at Marktplaats

Hadewych Corstens, who previously headed the automotive vertical at the EBay-owned Dutch general classified site Marktplaats, was promoted to the position head of verticals (including autos) earlier this year.

Corstens (LinkedIn profile here) has been working for EBay Classifieds Group since 2007. She started as marketing manager, then moved into the role of international business developer. Following that, Corstens became head of automotive.

In her new position as the head of automotive and verticals, Corstens is responsible for defining and managing the execution of commercial strategy for all paid categories except used stuff. In other words, for autos, caravans, motorbikes, boats, jobs, and housing.

Corstens holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Amsterdam.
