How Xing will benefit from Microsoft-LinkedIn deal

The European Commission (EC) approved the acquisition of LinkedIn by Microsoft on Tuesday, after the company had agreed to a list of conditions. Among them, according to a report in Bloomberg (based on anonymous sources), is that Microsoft has to add business network Xing to its Windows software for a minimum of five years.
