EBay’s 2dehands.be buys Schibsted’s Kapaza.be

Belgium’s classified market has seen a major consolidation: Kapaza.be, a leading general classifieds site owned by Schibsted, will cease to exist on May 13. Parts of Kapaza was bought for an undisclosed amount by competitor 2dehands.be, a horizontal platform owned by EBay.

Anastasia Gnezditskaia

Anastasia Gnezditskaia has joined AIM Group in 2014 as a writer/analyst covering France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Eastern Europe. A Russian living in Antwerp, Belgium, she has a background working for trade publications covering markets and their regulation.
