Funda.nl back in court over alleged discrimination

Funda.nl, the dominant property site of the Netherlands, opened to all real estate agents (also non-members of NVM and independent agents) for listing ads, on July 3. Yet, the move was made with strings attached - strings which the estate agent association VBO feels discriminates against non-NVM agents. As a result, the VBO filed a lawsuit against Funda, and a decision is expected on July 12.

Anastasia Gnezditskaia

Anastasia Gnezditskaia has joined AIM Group in 2014 as a writer/analyst covering France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Eastern Europe. A Russian living in Antwerp, Belgium, she has a background working for trade publications covering markets and their regulation.
